LOUPE, established at the end of 2003, is an independent television production company, specializing in non-fiction programming for the German and international market.
Antonia Coenen and Tanja Hübner founded the company to produce wildlife documentaries, conservation reports and factual formats world-wide. As a result of the successful production and co-producion with networks such as VOX, NDR and WDR, November 2008 saw the launch of LOUPE’s Berlin based production office. As of September 2008, A. Coenen became the sole executive producer and principal owner of LOUPE FILM PRODUCTION in Cologne and Berlin.
Today, together with Tanja Hübner, and talented filmmakers, LOUPE develops films in-house and has broadened its catalogue, producing social documentaries, reports and image films. The productions and co-productions of LOUPE are characterized by high quality, technical know-how, creativity, and high social commitment.
